Only at Little Gems

The Furrari Lounge.

Some small dogs sleep best in company. The Furrari Lounge is an open, softly lit space where a small group of mini and small dogs spend the evening and the night together, with a night handler beside them the whole time.

  • For mini and small dogs who find it hard to settle alone
  • A small, assessed group, never a crowd
  • A night handler with them through the night
  • An assessment with you present decides whether it suits

Veterinary support

Their vets are part of the family.

Canadian Vet Clinic is part of the Coro family, so the care team and the vets talk directly. If something changes during a stay, the vets are a call away and you hear first.

  1. 01
    Daily checks

The care team checks eating, drinking, energy and comfort every day of the stay.

  2. 02
    Straight to the vets

If anything changes, the team speaks to Canadian Vet Clinic and arranges a visit when it is needed.

  3. 03
    You hear first

You are told before anything is decided, the way you chose at check-in.

FAQs

What health records do they need?

Dogs. Dogs need Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. A VacciCheck report from the last 365 days can replace the DHPP booster. Allow seven days after vaccination before the assessment or the stay. Tell the team what parasite prevention your dog is on.

Cats. Cats need Rabies and FVRCP. Allow seven days after vaccination before the stay. Tell the team what parasite prevention your cat is on.

How do we prepare for a first stay?

Deadlines come from the team when you book.

  1. Before a first stayAssessment with you present. Join your dog for an assessment with the team before their first stay. A shared lounge stay needs the team's assessment too.
  2. Before bookingMembership. Membership required for daycare, boarding, park sessions and community events. Grooming, training and clinic visits are booked directly. How to join is on the membership page.
  3. By the team's stated deadlineDates. Confirm your dates by the deadline the team gives you. Ask whether a deposit applies to your dates. For Eid, holidays and school breaks, ask early.
  4. By the team's stated deadlineCancellation and holiday policy. Ask for the cancellation terms and any holiday policy before you confirm, and keep them with your booking.
  5. Before arrivalBehaviour notes. What calms them, what worries them, how they are with other dogs. The team reads these before check-in.
  6. On arrivalFood and belongings. Their usual food with amounts and times, their bed or blanket, and anything that smells of home. Label everything.
  7. On arrivalMedication. Only where the team has accepted it in advance, with written instructions. Ask before you book.
  8. Check-in and check-outArrival windows. Check-in and check-out windows differ by Campus and come with your booking.

For cats, what differs.

  1. Before a first stayAssessment. Whether a first visit with you present is needed depends on your cat; you hear when you request a stay.
  2. Before bookingMembership. Membership is held per dog at the Campus. Cat boarding at the Flagship is requested directly, and the stay is agreed with the Flagship team.
  3. By the team's stated deadlineDates. Cat stays follow the same peak and off-peak calendar. Confirm your dates by the deadline the team gives you and ask whether a deposit applies.
  4. Before arrivalBehaviour notes. Where they hide, what they climb, how they take to strangers. The team reads these before check-in.
  5. On arrivalCarrier, food and belongings. A secure carrier, their usual food with amounts and times, their bedding and litter preference. Label everything.
  6. Check-in and check-outArrival windows. Check-in and check-out windows at the Flagship come with your booking.
What comes with every room?
  • Rooms differ in size and in how many dogs from one home they fit; the team confirms the right room for your dogs.
  • Which Campus has a place free depends on your dates.
  • Ask about overnight staffing, updates and camera access for your chosen Campus and room before confirming the stay.
  • Campus daytime activity where it suits your dog: park time, supervised play and quiet rotations, decided at the assessment.
  • You bring their bed, toys, food and anything that smells of home; familiar things help them settle.
  • Two dogs from one household can share a room. A groom during the stay can be added.
Can you collect them from home?

Pet Taxi takes them to check-in and brings them home after the stay. Add it when you book; it runs across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

What if they need a vet?

The team checks your animal over at check-in and watches them through the stay. Veterinary care is arranged through Canadian Vet Clinic, a Coro Group company. Whether the vet visits, is on call or sees your animal by referral differs by Campus. Consent, contact and charges if a vet is needed are settled at check-in.

Will my dog be in their room all day?

No. Where the team has assessed your dog for it, Campus daytime activity is part of the stay: park time, supervised play and quiet rotations. They return to their room or the lounge to rest and sleep. What your stay includes depends on the Campus, the room and the assessment. How a daycare day runs

Private room or Furrari Lounge?

A room is your dog's own private space. The Furrari Lounge at Little Gems is a shared evening and overnight space for a small group of mini and small dogs who settle better in company. An assessment with you present decides which suits your dog; a breed does not. What genuinely differs:

Can my two dogs stay together?

Yes, in a private room for dogs from one household. Sharing is agreed after an assessment.

Can I watch them while I am away?

Ask about camera access for your chosen Campus and room before confirming the stay. Where there is no camera, the team sends updates by the channel you agree at check-in.

Do you board cats?

Yes, at the Flagship only, in quiet rooms away from the dog spaces. A cat stay is requested directly and agreed with the Flagship team. Choose Cats under Their stay to see the cat stay and the cat rooms. Choose Cats

Do you board another species?

Tell the team the species, routine and care needed before you book. Whether a suitable setting exists depends on the animal. Ask about another animal
